🥒 About the Coach

Connor McCartney

Connor is a passionate and experienced pickleball coach with over 2.5 years of experience teaching players of all skill levels. As an active competitor on the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour, Connor travels extensively to participate in tournaments across the country, continually honing his skills at the highest level of competition and playing against the top ranked professionals.

Known for his positive and energetic approach, Connor creates an encouraging and motivating atmosphere on the court, ensuring that each player feels supported while striving for improvement. His coaching style combines enthusiasm with thorough technical knowledge, allowing him to effectively communicate key strategies and tips to enhance player performance.

Whether working with beginners to build strong foundations or with advanced players to refine intricate skills and strategies, Connor’s ability to explain complex techniques in a clear and accessible way is a hallmark of his teaching. His commitment to both player development and fostering a fun, engaging environment makes him an exceptional coach and a respected figure in the pickleball community.

Jessica Mason

Jessica is a dedicated pickleball coach and high-level competitor with over five years of playing experience. Starting with no tennis background and a 3.0 rating, she has climbed the ranks through determination and grit—ultimately earning a career-high PPA Tour ranking of #51 in women’s doubles.

With more than 300 recorded matches across 62 tournaments, including 21 PPA pro events in the past year alone, Jessica has faced off against some of the best players in the country. Her experience at the professional level brings valuable, firsthand insight into every lesson she teaches.

Jessica has been coaching for two years and is passionate about helping players at all levels—from those struggling to keep their serve in the court, to athletes looking to break into advanced competition. Having built her own game from the ground up, and learning from some of the best, she knows exactly what it takes to improve your game.

With years of competitive and coaching experience, Jessica offers a well-rounded approach to pickleball development. She believes players learn best when they’re enjoying themselves, and she creates a positive environment that builds both skill and confidence. Whether she’s playing, coaching, or studying the game, Jessica is always immersed in pickleball and is committed to helping others grow and succeed.

What is the Coach to player ratio?

The coach-to-player ratio is 1:4, with two coaches providing live instruction during an 8-on-1 clinic. This ensures each player receives individualized attention, real-time feedback, and actionable tips to maximize improvement during the session.

What do clinics entail?

Our clinics are two hours long and structured for maximum learning and play. The first hour focuses on drills, skill development, and proper technique, allowing players to refine their fundamentals. During the second hour, players participate in a match, while coaches observe, provide real-time feedback, and stop periodically to discuss strategy, positioning, and decision-making on the court.

When are clinics?

We typically host clinics the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 8-10 AM or 9-11 AM and the thrd Saturday of he month from 3-5PM .
